Computer Literacy
You should be comfortable navigating a computer, installing software, and using a three-button mouse with precision. No CAD experience is needed — but if you struggle finding your way around a computer beyond checking email and surfing the internet, this class may move faster than expected.
What "average computer literacy" means
- You can download and install software on your own.
- You're comfortable managing files and folders.
- You can use a three-button mouse with precision — clicking, double-clicking, right-clicking, and scrolling to zoom.
- You know how to copy, paste, undo, and save.
If any of those feel uncertain, this might not be the class for you. The class moves quickly, and Fusion 360 is a complex piece of software — a solid foundation with the computer itself means you can focus on learning the CAD, not the machine.
